• Supplied complete ready for local installation or as a DIY package, the connections are all plug N play and you can easily install this system yourself, it is based on being fitted to a tin house or shed roof.
• We supply EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE THE SYSTEM and installation would normally take two days labour based on 5 hours per day for two people. If you purchase an extra 12 panels @ $3000 to complete the system to 6Kw allow an extra 4 hours.
• The panels require 6.5 meters x 3.6 meters of roofing area, the 250 watt panels can be in 1 row of 12 or 2 rows of 6 wired in series, this gives an output of 451.20 VDC @ 8.65 amps in to the Morningstar 600v Maximum Power Point Tracker Solar Controllers converting that energy to 48 volts @ 60 amps & Tracker 2 is set for twice the expansion.
  ( NOTE: tracker 2 can have and extra 3 kw added at any time just by adding 12 more panels in one string ).

• HERE IS HOW THIS SYSTEM WORKS DC TO DC TO AC

The Morningstar controllers will take the solar voltage and convert the incoming energy to exactly what the batteries need making instant adjustments for outgoing loads. They even monitor the battery bank temperature, state of charge and all important aspects of the system. The system is basically set and forget and the only user input is checking and topping up battery fluids ( if using the FLAs ) the AGM batteries if selected are completely maintenance free and no user input is required.

This system is so good you can run evaporative air conditioners, toasters or even your hair dryer with out having to worry if there is enough solar stored battery energy to run your appliances.

The system needs to be facing true north to gather those important sun rays particularly in winter when the sun is low in the north sky, in summer the power output could almost double to about 24 kilowatts.

• The system is made up of:

1. 12 x 250 watt Zocen solar panels, panel connectors, panel fusing all panel installation hardware for a metal roof & 2 roof mount isolators.
2. All wiring from panels through isolator then through circuit DC breakers to controllers then to disconnect fuse to battery bank.
3. 2 x Morningstar Tristar 600 volt American made 60 amp solar multi point power trackers, allows expansion to 6 kilowatts just by adding panels.
4. YOUR CHOICE OF:1600 AMP HOUR @ C100 rate/967 AMP HOUR @ C10 rate Flooded Lead Acid 48 VDC BATTERY BANK ( 24 x 2 volt cells ea 44.9kgs ).Or 1350 AMP HOUR @ C100 rate/1200 AMP HOUR @ C10 rate AGM Maintenance free sealed 48 VDC BATTERY BANK ( 24 x 1350 ah x 2 volt cells or 48 x 450 ah x 2 volt cells).
5. 3000 watt continuous Outback inverter/45 amp battery chargers.
6. Complete sub-board with DC and AC circuit breakers, AC MCBs, AC power usage meter, quick view voltage meter, roll of 32mm conduit, conduit clamps, battery connections, everything you need supplied on 3 shrink wrapped pallets.
